DEFEATING CANCER WITH DONOR IMMUNE CELLS & MORE

SUMMARY

■ Donor cancer-fighting immune cells called granulocytes which are donated by healthy, disease-free young people are given by intravenous drip (IV) on a daily basis.

■ HLA mismatched umbilical cord stem cells are used as a means of provoking an attack on tumors by a patient's own immune system (These stem cells are attracted to tumors, engraft and produce a mild rejection reaction against them and the tumor they embed in).

Back during 1999 headlines proclaimed that cancer had been 100% cured in mice. The breakthrough treatment was pioneered by Wake Forest University researcher Zheng Cui, MD, PhD and involved his injecting mice with an ultra aggressive form of cancer that was certain to kill all the animals fairly quickly. One didn't contract cancer. Curious as to why, Dr. Cui went about determining what was protecting the cancer resistant mouse and found that the little bugger had white blood cells (granulocytes) that were quick to attack and eradicate cancer cells. More work followed that led Dr. Cui to propose that between 10-15% of people harbor granulocytes that make them resist developing cancer. He also proposed that these cancer-resistant granulocytes could be harvested from human donors and given to cancer patients. This idea gathered momentum resulting in a clinical study proposal that as approved by the FDA. However, the Wake Forest study ultimately was withdrawn.

STEM CELLS RENEW INSTITUTE OF MEXICO CANCER TREATMENT PROGRAM

In 2011 we at SCRI approached biomedical theoristDr. Anthony G. Payne and asked him for any ideas or suggestions he might have for bettering the lot of a middle-aged American man who had end stage prostate cancer. As this gentleman had exhausted all the conventional approaches available he and SCRI's doctors and researchers agreed it was time for heroic measures.

With Dr. Cui's pioneering work in mind Dr. Payne then set to work to develop an experimental protocol that would combine the use of mismatched donor granulocytes from healthy young people with HLA mismatched umbilical cord stem cells from healthy newborns. Why mismatched cord blood derived stem cells? Dr. Payne had seen this work for prostate and other forms of cancer treated in Mexico on many occasions. Cord blood stem cells apparently home in on specific biochemical compounds tumors secrete, then engraft and attract immune system players that attack and destroy tumor cells.

Dr. Payne had, in fact, documented many cases of partial and total remission in advanced cancer patients who received HLA mismatched cord blood stem cells (dating back to 2003.) In addition, many experienced a rapid reduction in cancer-related pain (and in some instances a total succession of pain) as well as improvements in numerous quality-of-life measures.

In addition to the protocols for treating cancer with donor granulocytes & umbilical cord stem cells, Dr. Payne provided SCRI's medical team with a diet and supplement program rich in cancer-killing and immune system activating compounds specific for prostate cancer.

Long story short: The prostate cancer patient was treated with mismatched donor granulocytes & umbilical cord stems in 2009 cells over a five day period using this "pulsed method protocol" and was then put on his (Payne's) special diet & supplement program. His response was nothing short of a total turnaround! At the beginning of his treatment he was wasting away, had very little physical energy and was as white as a sheet of paper. Then, before he'd even completed his 5-day course of therapy he had his color, appetite and energy return in short order. He then began walking all over the hospital and made a point of asking when he could return to his work as a business owner. Preliminary medical tests indicated that his cancer is in fast retreat and full remission was possible.

UPDATE: On October 10, 2011 the patient shared the exciting news that his US board certified oncologist has declared his cancer is still in full remission. Tests and scans revealed that his PSA had gone from a figure in the stratosphere to less than 1. And his prostate — once enlarged to an unbelievable size —was now smaller than normal.

And yes, he returned to his office and has been working way ever since!
